Procurement Support Role
This role is responsible for providing complex-level procurement support, actively addressing complex issues and driving tactical and strategic initiatives, including process standardization and program execution. The role monitors key procurement metrics, identifies issues, and proposes solutions. The role manages production scheduling and collaborates on strategies to improve warehouse operations, quality, and logistics. The role fosters relationships with suppliers, and offers independent analytical and strategic support to experienced team members.
Provides complex-level procurement support using subject matter expertise and knowledge of multiple technologies. Solves complex issues and drives tactical and strategic initiatives, such as leading process standardizations, executing program strategies, or coordinating integration of small acquisitions. Monitors programs, delivery solutions, key metrics, and process oriented tasks, and identifies issues and proposes solutions with limited guidance. Holds responsibility for readiness, availability, and visibility of materials necessary to meet production schedules and overall supply / demand goals. Establishes and manages production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress of production, and reviewing factors that affect schedules. Supports the development of strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations, including inventory management, staging, and material handling processes, quality, and logistics. Collaborates with or leads teams to maintain and enhance the current business objectives, such as cost-management. Identifies and develops effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services, to manage supply and demand. Provides independent analytic and strategic support to experienced team members and supports them in day-to-day operations. Mentors lower level contributors, and contributes to their growth in the organization.
Recommended Education & Experience : Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

Salary : The pay range for this role is $65,450 to $93,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and / or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
