Step into a first-shift role where your craftsmanship is on display from setup through final inspection. At Onyx Valve Company in Cinnaminson, NJ, you’ll produce valve components on a mix of CNC and manual equipment—work that directly supports mining and wastewater operations across the country.

A day in the shop

  • Set up and run a CNC ProtoTRAK lathe and mill, Bridgeport, and a Romi Easy Path 2 CNC lathe.
  • Operate manual machines to complement CNC work and finish tight-tolerance parts.
  • Move seamlessly between small and large builds—from 1-inch parts to 30-inch components weighing from 5 lbs. up to three-quarters of a ton.
  • Own your schedule on first shift : Monday–Friday, 6 : 30 a.m.–3 : 00 p.m.; overtime is usually available, but never required.

What you’ll bring

  • Hands-on CNC machining background (3+ years preferred). Recent graduates of an accredited CNC machinist training program are encouraged to apply.
  • Confidence with setups, safe operation, and basic offsets on CNC lathes and mills.
  • Pride in quality, teamwork, and learning new processes.
