As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrols in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations as they arise. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observing for compliance with site access procedures and reporting any irregularities.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment in the chemical and petrochemical location.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
