This position offers a mix of inpatient care, scheduled clinical hours, and call responsibilities.

Position Details

November 15, 2024

June 18, 2025

10 hours of in-house coverage, followed by 14 hours of on-call coverage.

8 hours of onsite presence with 24-hour call shifts during specified dates.

Inpatient only.

Approximately 4.3 patients.

15 in the obstetrics department.

Clinical Requirements

Low and high-risk pregnancies, routine deliveries, and C-sections.

Certifications & Qualifications

Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Active Michigan state license required.

No advanced life support certifications are required, but candidates are encouraged to hold ABLS, ACLS, BLS, or similar.

Additional Information

Collaborate with 68 RNs daily.

Supervise family medicine residents and medical students during rotations.

Approximately 370380 deliveries annually within the unit.

Travel and Logistics

Recommendations will be provided upon request.
