Responsibilities Work in a 27-bed medical-surgical inpatient unit Primary patient population is elderly adults, but patients may be as young as 18 Common diagnoses include post-op ortho, general surgery, ETOH, CHF, and pneumonia RN patient ratios are 5 : 1, LNA ratios are 3 : 1 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week Every other weekend and rotating holidays required Care for a diverse med / surg population including post-surgical and medical patients Must be able to manage typical Med / Surg procedures and interventions Holiday and weekend coverage is required as scheduled First-time travelers will be considered Requirements Active NH or compact state RN license with proof of state residency Minimum 2 years recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years Current BLS certification is required ACLS certification is preferred Experience with post-surgical drains, central line care and maintenance, Foley catheter insertion, G / J / NG / PEG tubes, IV medication administration including IV push, wound care, and O2 therapy Epic and telemetry experience preferred No local candidates allowed; must live at least 75 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-641670.
