RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LEAD ACCOUNTING ANALYST :
You will work cross functionally throughout the entire organization as part of the financial reporting teamReviewing & Analyzing US GAAP & STAT Financial StatementsPerform Complex Reconciliations across the organizationWork cross functionally on other accounting teams where needed to utilize your strong suits and experienceThis could be on the financial reporting team, accounting operations, internal controls, legal, and others
Coaching, mentoring, & training othersEXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE LEAD ACCOUNTING ANALYST :
Bachelors degree in Accounting7+ Years of experienceCPA, MBA WelcomedMix of Public Accounting Experience and Private IndustryInsurance Industry experience is major plusKeywords : GAAP, Insurance, Statutory, BIG4, KPMG, Deloitte, E&Y, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, PWC, GAAP, Financial Statements
Compensation : $100,000 - $111,000 Base + Bonus depending on experience

As the Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from start to finish.You will lead the creation of the white paper memos
You will also coach, mentor, & train the staff below with difficult questionsYou will be responsible for preparing US GAAP Financial Statements - Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and P&L (Cash Flow) Statements.You will be in the weeds of technical accounting & research. The enterprise has 200+ accountants and if they can't figure something out, it comes to your team!Assist with any Technical Accounting - Ex. ASC606 or ASC842. Doing the research of impacts on team / organization.You will review all contracts up to a certain threshold to create the accounting positions on these contractsWriting & Developing Position Papers - Also known as White Paper Memos.Dealing with the Company Acquisitions or unusual transactions - Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting relatedSpecial Ad-Hoc requests from LeadershipAssist with any miscellaneous - Non-GAAP areasPlease Note - This isn't your typical day to day - GL focused role. There isn't going to be any Journal Entry Prep or Review. Perhaps some Review of ReconciliationsWhat qualifications do you need for the Technical Accounting Manager role?
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting RequiredMinimum 6+ years of experience (SEC Reporting and / or Audit)Technical Expertise - ASC606 & ASC842 etc.CPA Required or currently pursuingStraight from Public Accounting (BIG4) or Top 10 CPA Firm or Combination of Public / Private IndustryExperience with Excel, other major ERP Systems#INOCT2025
