Job description

Direct Support Professionals make a difference every single day by providing direct care to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. If you are looking to be a part of something bigger and to make an impact in the lives of others, then join our team! Currently, we are hiring for 3rd shift in part-time or full-time capacities.

Details :

  • Paid training.
  • Hourly rate of $18.00.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Health Insurance (portion paid by RCI).
  • Simple IRA with 3% match.
  • Referral Bonus ($875 / each).
  • Flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with leisure activities, community inclusion, choice-making, personal life skills, relationship building, daily living activities, independence, and self-direction, in a residential setting.
  • Work directly with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help meet their various social, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Partner with other personnel members to support individual service plans and goals.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks, assisting individuals with meals, and personal hygiene needs.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe environment.
  • Record, report, and communicate information and other concerns about the individuals with co-workers, managers, nursing, and / or administration.
  • Serve as a chief resource person for day-to-day status and needs of the individuals supported.
  • Must be able to transport / drive individuals in a company van.
  • Participate in on-going staff development and training activities.
  • 3rd shift is an awake position.
  • Requirements :

  • No experience is necessary.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license with less than 6 points on record.
  • Must pass a background check (paid by RCI).
  • Must pass a company physical (paid by RCI).
