Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA)   is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates, which operate non-profit health centers across the USA. PPFA also works to educate the public on and advocate for issues of sexual and reproductive health. Formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Planned Parenthood Action Fund is a separate non-profit membership organization tax-exempt under section 501(c)(4). The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and limited electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education in furtherance of the Planned Parenthood mission.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund seek a transformational, experienced and dynamic leader for the Vice President, Information Technology Infrastructure and Operations. This leadership position reports to the Chief Information Officer in the IT Department of PPFA. This domain provides overall leadership and management of all IT infrastructure and operational capabilities for PPFA. Additionally, drives the Infrastructure strategy and planning for the organization, ensuring strategic goals are in alignment with the overall PPFA goals. Importantly,  ensures the stability and the proper functioning of PPFA’s Information Technology platforms, meeting our defined service level performance / availability agreements (99.999% availability level).

Purpose :

• Leads IT Infrastructure and Operations strategy, developing new capabilities and maturing existing processes and ways of working to build a high-performing team and improve maturity level across the IT domain.
• Responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s technology infrastructure and operational services. This executive ensures that IT systems and operations support the business’s goals, maintain high availability, and deliver secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions.
• Partner with CISO and other Senior Leaders to develop and implement secure, scalable solutions that comply with regulatory standards and meet organization policy requirements and industry best practices.
• Accountable for overseeing Infrastructure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Metrics :

○Ensures the IT Infrastructure and Operations team continually assesses PPFA’s infrastructure’s health, efficiency, and proper data maintenance and management.

○Drives consistent performance management of PPFA’s Tech Infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, and compliance.

○Drives meeting and exceeding service level agreements (SLAs), objectives, and performance expectations.

Engagement :

This role is a senior-level executive engaging with all levels of the organization. Mentors and leads a high-performing Infrastructure & Operations organization.

Travel : 0-10% travel, as needed.

Roles that are denoted as NYC, DC, or both will work a hybrid schedule and are expected to work in their assigned PPFA office a minimum 2 days per week unless the role is denoted as onsite, which requires working onsite full time or 5 days per week.
