Shift : Primarily days (i.e. Monday - Friday, 7a-3 : 30p) Please be aware that as an exempt position, job duties may occasionally require additional time in the evenings, nights, holidays and / or weekends to accomplish work goals in excess of 40 hours per week.
Job Summary
The Manager, DLAR Training and Compliance is responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and safe operation of all DLAR facilities. This position oversees facility compliance, operational planning, staff training, equipment management, and data reporting to support the highest standards of animal welfare, research support, and regulatory integrity. The incumbent provides leadership in developing and maintaining SOPs, implementing efficiency strategies, and ensuring staff are properly trained in all aspects of animal care and facility operations.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Must possess knowledge of Animal Welfare Regulations and Standards. (Animal Welfare Act and The Guide for Care and Use of Laboratory Animals) Previous experience training Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
