Radiologic Technologist / Rad Tech Fairfax, VA Pay From : $33 per hour Radiology Technician - Pediatrics Fairfax, Virginia Pay From : $38 Per Hour MUST : Experienced X- Ray Technician 1+ year of experience as an X-ray Tech Comfortable working with children Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist License required ARRT Certification DUTIES : The Radiology Technologist duties include but are not limited to the following : Prepare patients for radiological procedures and follow established procedures for patient care and safety Provide patient education on x-ray procedures so they feel comfortable Perform safe and compliant operation of X-ray technologies to produce digital images of bones and tissues Protect patients from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures Obtain quality radiographs of patients in an acceptable timeframe; Process and accurately digitize images with correct patient data Prepare examination rooms for radiographic procedures Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Quadrant is an affirmative action / equal opportunity employer.
