Director of Nursing (DON)

What You'll Do :

As the Director of Nursing, you'll play a vital leadership role in overseeing all aspects of nursing services. You'll be responsible for supervising nursing personnel, coordinating care delivery, and ensuring regulatory compliance-all while maintaining a culture of empathy and excellence.

Key responsibilities include :

Lead and mentor the nursing team with professionalism and compassion

Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical assessments

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

Foster collaboration across interdisciplinary teams

Conduct team meetings and promote open communication

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Support staff development through coaching and continued education

Schedule :

Full-time, weekdays (day shift)

Some on-call responsibilities

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Current RN licensure in Minnesota

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (long-term care or gerontological preferred)

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Knowledge of ANA Standards of Nursing Practice and gerontological standards

Familiarity with rehabilitation, mental health care, and senior care best practices

Solid understanding of federal / state regulations and community healthcare resources

Committed to ongoing professional development

Compensation & Benefits :

Pay Range : $42 – $48 per hour (based on experience)
