Job description

Radiation Oncology Locum position for clinic coverage in Galesburg, IL - no call, holidays or weekends!- $325 Hourly

Start date : March 21, 2025- March 28, 2025

Schedule / Need : Mon-Fri 8am-4 : 30pm

Submission Requirements :

  • ACTIVE IL License : REQUIRED
  • IL DEA : REQUIRED
  • CSR : REQUIRED
  • ACTIVE Board Certified or Board Eligible (Within 5 years of residency) : REQUIRED
  • Clean Malpractice (Due to expedited credentialing) : REQUIRED

Position Details :

  • 25-30 patients under treatment per day, both locations.
  • Cases - External beam treatments, OTV's and follow ups
  • Procedures required - on site supervision for compliance, checking SRS's, on treatment visits, occasional follow up or consult.
  • EMR / Charting : EPIC
  • Will Candidate Work Solo? Yes
  • On Call? No
  • Locum will be responsible for patient evaluation, simulation and dosimetry treatment planning, prescription for radiation therapy, weekly assessments of patients under treatment, and post-treatment patient follow-up. The physician is also responsible for checking daily images for verification of alignment and accuracy of treatment.
