Accounting Intern

The Chicago Sky are looking for an accounting intern to assist the CFO with processing a high volume of vendor invoices and other accounting related duties. This is a year-round internship of approximately 10-15 hours per week with the option for increased summer hours up to 25-30 hours per week.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

• Ensure all vendor invoices are approved by proper department head
• Request and review W-9 forms from new vendors
• Accurately enter all approved vendor invoices into QuickBooks paying attention to details such as vendor name, invoice date, due date, amount, GL code and description
• Scan / file vendor invoices
• Assist with processing payments to vendors
• Provide other accounting and administrative support as needed (bank reconciliations, credit card expense reports, etc.)
