Position

Field Service Representative — provide operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers across various industries. This mission-critical role covers technologies including catalytic oxidation, wastewater clarification, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO) and filter press separation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
• Conduct critical and preventative maintenance and calibration activities on equipment
• Take samples and support the Lab FSR in performing analytical testing (e.g., pH, COD, DO, Ammonia, ATP, TSS, 30-min settling tests, Phosphorus) and other site-specific tests
• Review lab data with the Lab FSR and make appropriate process changes based on plant conditions and laboratory results
• Utilize forklift as needed for plant operations
• Monitor, adjust and maintain chemical injection systems
• Support the maintenance team in maintaining inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and control troubleshooting on equipment (valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, instrumentation)
• Create and maintain site documentation; provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Consult with shift lead and site management
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Meet customer access requirements to sites
• Other duties as required
• Data interpretation, record-keeping, reporting, and critical decision-making skills
