Position Summary :
The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for completing the design and drafting of custom turbomachinery such as pumps, turbines, etc. They perform duties with Computer Aided Design (CAD) including modeling of parts and assemblies, and create drawings with appropriate dimensioning and tolerances, material properties, manufacturing processes, tool design and cost of production. Projects may include clean sheet designs, or modifications to existing systems, equipment and machinery.
Key Results Areas :
1. Lead the 3D modeling phase of a project to complete an assembly that will meet technical and manufacturability requirements within budgetary and schedule constraints.
2. Create the manufacturing drawing package from solid model geometry that will meet technical and manufacturability requirements within budgetary and schedule constraints by using the following :
3. Work with project team and manufacturing group during manufacturing phase of the project to disposition non-compliant parts.
4. Lead Design improvement and standardization initiatives and / or lead and develop special business-level protocols

Compensation and Benefits :
The salary range for this role is $120,000-$145,000. This range represent the anticipated minimum and maximum base + bonus for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant’s qualifications (education, training and / or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances.
