About The Position
- A physician-led, outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center and Pain Management Clinic located in Pinellas County, Florida, is seeking a full-time Interventional Pain Management Physician.
- This role offers a 100% outpatient schedule with no hospital call, multidisciplinary team support, a competitive compensation package with productivity incentives, and a partnership track opportunity.
Job Responsibilities
Examine and evaluate patients to determine discomfort level and causes of pain.Recommend diagnostic tests to assess pain conditions and assist in treatment planning.Perform interventional procedures such as epidurals, RF ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and joint injections.Provide pain relief through medications, nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, and other therapies.Report directly to the Medical Director and participate in care planning.Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and the public.Maintain an organized and clean work environment.Attend and participate in required meetings and monthly team sessions.Consult supervising providers as needed for patient care.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director.1664460EXPTEMP
Job Requirements
Board certified or board eligible in Pain Medicine (via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology).Active or eligible Florida medical license.Minimum 5 years of experience in Pain Management and / or Orthopedics.Skilled in interventional pain procedures.Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach.Additional certifications / licensing in related specialties preferred.Medical degree from an accredited institution.Top Reasons to Choose a Locum Tenens Assignment
