We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Hospital Director to lead our talented team in Clearwater, FL.
As the Hospital Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of clinical and non-clinical daily operations within the specialty and emergency aspect of the veterinary hospital. The Hospital Director will provide leadership and direction for the specialty and emergency teams. The candidate must be able to thrive in challenging situations, is solution driven and exhibits integrity, collaboration, flexibility and results. In conjunction with the Medical Director, the Hospital Director has accountability for the operational and financial management of the hospital.

Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of veterinary professionals, including veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall performance of the hospital
- Ensure the hospital operates in compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Oversee the financial operations of the hospital, including budgeting and revenue management
- Collaborate with the leadership team to set goals and objectives for the hospital
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, referring veterinarians, and other stakeholders
- Ensure a positive work environment and promote staff development and engagement
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective hospital operations
- Provide leadership and guidance in the areas of client service, patient care, and staff development
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role in an emergency / specialty veterinary hospitalCredentialed Technician and / or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) - PreferredBachelor's degree in business administration, veterinary management, or related field - PreferredStrong knowledge of veterinary operations and industry best practicesExcellent leadership and communication skillsProven ability to manage and motivate a teamUnderstanding of financial management principlesAbility to effectively handle challenging situations and make sound decisionsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededBenefits
