Job Summary
This position works in the 2nd Ops division that further assembles product, cut to length and various other finishing of products. This position is for 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 3 : 00 pm - 11 : 30 pm).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- End finish operations
- Read DPR / determine quantity required
- Standard packaging label (spec #40001)
- Complete DPR paperwork (spec#00005 & 00006)
- Collection of products
- Report processing difficulties to supervisor (or designate)
- Various cut to length operations
- Use of weigh count scales
- Miscellaneous in-process product inspection
- Testing of products
- General housekeeping and sanitation
- General maintenance activities
- Dimensional measurement of extruded tubing
- Visual inspection of extruded tubing
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalentLegible handwriting1+ years of on-the-job experience in medical device manufacturer or component manufacturerAble to perform repetitive tasks for a minimum of 8 hours each workdayHand dexterity is essential, as small parts need to be assembledGood eye-hand coordination is requiredAble to use, but not limited to, pin gauges, ruler, tape measure, and caliperWorker should be able to meet known targetsAble to work independently or in a teamAble to maintain accurate recordsPhysical Demands
Continual lifting up to 50 lb, gripping, turning, finger dexterity, and hand / eye coordination is required throughout the shift.Long hours : 8 + hour shifts, mostly standing occasionally rotating into a sitting position.Position requires good vision to inspect product for quality. Must be able to distinguish colors for some positions. Must be able to wear protective eyewear.Work Environment
Exposure to noise is present. Safety equipment such as protective eyewear is required, however hearing protection is optional and both are provided by the company.Manufacturing, warehouse and clean room environments
