A company is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to support the security posture of VA information systems and environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform ongoing vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and remediation in accordance with relevant standards
Develop and maintain Assessment & Authorization artifacts to support ATO submissions and renewals
Respond to and analyze security events and incidents, ensuring timely remediation and stakeholder notification
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered
Minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security operations, risk assessment, or information security compliance
Demonstrated knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards and experience with vulnerability assessments
Familiarity with security tools and experience supporting ATO and A&A processes
Understanding of DevSecOps practices and the ability to manage multiple applications
