As a Senior Media Buyer – Strategist, you will be a key player in shaping and executing multi-channel media strategies that drive performance and deliver results. With a deep understanding of both traditional and digital platforms, you’ll lead in optimizing campaigns across Display, Social, OOH, Print, TV / Radio, and more. This role demands strategic thinking, hands-on media buying expertise, and strong analytical capabilities to ensure every dollar is working toward client goals. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, media partners, and clients to push boundaries, exceed KPIs, and bring smart, data-driven ideas to life.
This position reports to the Director of Media and is based on-site at our corporate headquarters in Whippany, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute paid media strategies across multiple platforms, aligning with overall marketing goals and KPIs.
- Manage large-scale budgets and optimize for ROI, ROAS, and CPA across campaigns.
- Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to identify targeting opportunities and creative angles.
- Test and iterate on creatives, copy, placements, and bidding strategies to maximize performance.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide clear, actionable insights to internal teams and clients.
- Monitor pacing and reconcile media spend across platforms to ensure accurate delivery and alignment with monthly / quarterly forecasts.
- Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, tools, and platform updates as well as garner strong relationships with media reps.
- Support new business pitches as needed.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in media buying / strategy, ideally in an agency or high-growth environment. (Display, Social, OOH, Print, TV / Radio, Google etc.)Experience in managing tactics such as (Meta, Programmatic, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat Site Directs, Streaming etc.).Strong analytical skills — confident with attribution models, A / B testing, and performance reporting.Demonstrated success in optimizing cross-channel media strategies by leveraging performance data and aligning with client-specific KPIs.Clear and confident communicator with the ability to think quickly and collaborate effectively with clients in real time.Highly organized, proactive, and detail oriented.Bonus : Experience with eCommerce, DTC, or B2B.Please send resume and salary requirements to cjasinski@scgadv.com
