Job Title :  Cable Technician

Location :  Littleton, CO

Type :  Contract-to-Hire (Long-Term Opportunity)

Shift : 1st shift ... 5 : 30a-4pm Monday - Thursday 4 / 10's right now. (This schedule may possibly change at beginning of the year)

Pay Range :  $20–$23 per hour

Overview :

Albers Aerospace / OnePath is seeking skilled Cable Technicians to support projects at the Lockheed Martin site. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team, with long-term potential and the possibility of obtaining a security clearance in the future.

Responsibilities :

  • Pull Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling for large-scale builds
  • Install network cabinets, J-hooks, and related hardware
  • Perform cable pulling, wire terminations, and labeling
  • Assist with cabinet installation and general labor (bending, twisting, lifting, and material handling)
  • Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on existing infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity or signal issues
  • Replace outdated equipment such as modems, fittings, and ground blocks

Preferred Skills (a plus) :

  • Basic understanding of fiber optics
  • Familiarity with structured cabling standards and low-voltage systems

    • Requirements :

  • Ability to pass background check and 5-panel UA screening
  • Previous experience with cable pulling, terminations, or low-voltage wiring preferred
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working on ladders
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (to support potential clearance requirements)
  • Interest in long-term career growth with the opportunity to obtain a Security Clearance (SCI) in the future
