Job Title : Statistical Programming Analyst
Location : Columbia, SC
Contract duration : 6 month contract with potential for extension or conversion
Job Summary
We are seeking a Statistical Programming Analyst to join our Medicare Statistical Analysis Department (MSAD), supporting reporting and analysis of Medicare Part A / B and RRB claims data. In this role, you will use SAS, SQL, and Python to ensure data integrity, perform statistical analyses, and create accurate, insightful reports for both routine and ad hoc requests. The ideal candidate has a strong background in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or computer science, along with excellent communication and documentation skills to clearly explain data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Education :
Bachelor's or Master's degree Statistics / Biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, or other job related field.
Required Work Experience :
4 years statistical programming or statistical interpretation.
Required Software : Microsoft Office
Soft Skills :
Strong communication skills
Nice To Have :
Preferred Work Experience :
5 years experience with statistical practices. 5 years statistical software and relational database experience. (may be concurrent)
Preferred Software :
SAS and / or Python; Databricks; SQL
