POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Machine Controls Engineer with expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and drives to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical control systems for various industrial machines and equipment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Designing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems using Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and drives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Developing electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
  • Conducting system integration, testing, and validation to ensure functionality and performance meet project requirements.
  • Providing technical support and training to maintenance staff and operators.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Adhering to industry standards and best practices for electrical design and safety.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, programming, and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix) and drives (PowerFlex series).
  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, including sensors, actuators, and communication protocols (Ethernet / IP, Modbus).
  • Familiarity with HMI development using Allen Bradley software (PanelView, FactoryTalk View).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
