Job descriptionCollects all material and equipment required to begin the process. Takes precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components. Selects or modifies components according to measurements and specifications. Aligns material and puts together parts to build more complex units. Checks output to ensure highest quality. Maintains equipment in good condition. Keeps records of production quantities and time. Reports on issues, deviations, malfunctions or defective parts. Must observe all safety rules and regulations as they pertain to own job, work area and overall environment. Follows instructions, responds to management direction. Asks for and offers help when needed. Other duties as assigned / needed. Maintains equipment in good condition. Keeps records of production quantities and time. High school diploma / GED required, degree from technical school highly preferred, with 3 years' experience in mechanical assembly desired. Must be mechanically inclined -good intuition, strong dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination and experience with hand tools and basic power tools. Ability to read blueprints and drawings and follow directions required. Familiarity with use of measuring instruments highly preferred. Must be highly organized and attentive to detail, with ability to work under time constraints. Good understanding of quality principles and math. Strong verbal communication skills needed. Must be able to respond to others and ask questions appropriately. Ability to read and interpret information. Must be professional and accountable. Accepts responsibility for own actions. Applies feedback to improve performance. Must be able to lift - up to 100 Lbs.

Physical Demands :
Employee is required to stand; walk; bend; use hands to handle, feel, reach; use arms to lift and reach, be able to talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close, distance and color vision, along with depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
