The Gastroenterology Physician plays a critical role in a team of gastroenterologists and advanced practice practitioners focused on delivering comprehensive gastrointestinal care. The position involves providing specialized procedures such as ERCP and EUS, as well as collaborating with a colorectal surgeon within a dedicated gastroenterology program. The physician participates in on-call duties, ensuring patient needs are met efficiently while sharing holiday coverage responsibilities with a local private practice.

We currently have three Gastroenterologist and three Advance Practice Practitioners on our team. We do provide ERCP and EUS services. We are firmly committed to developing a strong gastroenterology program. We also have a colorectal surgeon for our Surgical Specialists group. Our GI call is currently one in four during the week (for our patients) and one in seven for weekends (combined groups with a private practice). We split holiday coverage fairly between our group and a private practice group in town.
