A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join its General Surgery and Complex Hernia / Abdominal Core Health team in an ambulatory setting. This role offers the opportunity to work with highly complex surgical patients, providing long-term, comprehensive care.

Position Details :

Location : Greater Hartford Region, CT

Setting : Ambulatory, with potential OR time

Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday (No weekends, No call)

Role Responsibilities :

Conduct new patient consults, post-operative follow-ups, and inpatient transition of care rounding

Perform in-office procedures (skin and soft tissue mass excisions, incision and drainage, complex wound care)

Coordinate multidisciplinary care and assist with system quality initiatives

Develop long-term patient relationships in a collaborative and supportive environment

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program

Licensed (or eligible) PA-C or APRN in Connecticut

Board-certified (or eligible) in General Surgery or related field

Preferred : Experience in plastics, general, or colorectal surgery
