We have a great opportunity for a Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to join our team!

The Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting will be a key member of a small corporate finance team. The position will report to the Corporate Controller. This position will be primarily responsible for leading external financial reporting, providing technical accounting research, oversight of the corporate accounting close process and along with various other special projects.

Responsibilities Include :

• Prepare SEC and other external financial reports including preparation of financial statement footnote schedules and validate for accuracy.
• Utilize information within OneStream consolidation software tool to develop efficient and effective ways to gather consolidated information and analyses for financial statements and disclosures.
• Collaborating with the accounting, tax and legal team to ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Assist in preparation and monitoring adherence for accounting policies (in accordance with US GAAP) and procedures.
• Lead the implementation for newly required financial reports and disclosures.
• Drive best practices for quality internal and external reporting, supported by strong internal processes and controls.
• Perform technical accounting research and document conclusions as required in accounting position papers (i.e. impairment, pensions, debt transactions, acquisitions, etc.).
• Provide technical accounting support for divisional finance leads and other corporate functions.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Review of corporate ledger accounting and close process.
• Assist with special projects and needs of executive management and divisions.
