As a Speech Language Pathologist joining our team in the vibrant city of Henderson, your expertise will extend beyond mere therapy sessions. You will create pathways for connection, confidence, and expression - whether it's guiding a child through their first utterances or helping an elder regain their voice.

This position uniquely positions you to engage with a diverse population throughout their lifespan, merging outpatient therapy with occasional inpatient duty. Whether your passion lies in pediatric language acquisition, adult neurological communication disorders, or geriatric cognitive therapy, here you will find both satisfaction and versatility in your daily work.

  • Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and their families to empower them in supporting progress beyond therapy settings.
  • Participate in inpatient therapy applications when required, ensuring seamless care during the entire rehabilitation process.
  • Document all services responsibly and in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain at the forefront of best practices in speech therapy.

  • Certifications

  • Required state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within the first month of employment.
  • Skills

  • Expertise in evidence-driven treatment techniques for all age groups, equipped with in-depth knowledge of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and integrated care teams.
  • Flexibility to modify therapy methods according to a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Robust clinical judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and relevant documentation practices.
  • Benefits

  • Attractive salary reflective of experience and skills.
  • Flexible work arrangements to support a positive work-life balance with varied clinical challenges.
  • Chances to focus on specialized areas such as pediatrics, adult neurology, and geriatrics.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday benefits.
  • Access to a comprehensive suite of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
  • Opportunities for professional growth through reimbursement for continuing education and professional development initiatives.
  • A nurturing, team-oriented atmosphere emphasizing high-quality care and a commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Embrace a Role That Changes Lives

In this rewarding position, your role as a Speech Language Pathologist transcends traditional therapy; it is wrapped in the fabric of community support where words become tools for change, and connections are formed through empathy and understanding.

You will collaborate with a close-knit team of clinicians who believe in shared success, working side by side in an environment that prioritizes teamwork over competition. Each patient brings a story; you will have the privilege to impact how they convey it.

Experience the vibrancy of a city that knows how to celebrate life, from diverse culinary scenes and artistic enclaves to outdoor adventures just waiting to be had.

Nature enthusiasts can find endless opportunities for hiking, biking, and exploring iconic landscapes like the nearby Lake Mead and the remarkable Red Rock Canyon.

Henderson uniquely offers the convenience of Vegas proximity without the hustle and bustle, allowing residents to enjoy a lower cost of living and no state income tax, along with a robust community of professionals looking to advance their careers in an emerging healthcare hub.

For those eager for growth, both personally and professionally, this environment encourages exploration and discovery.

Join Our Team of Compassionate Clinicians

We are searching for a Speech Language Pathologist who is committed not only to clinical excellence but to approaching their role with compassion. You are the type who seeks to see potential where others see challenges; who hears the silent hopes of the hesitant and is prepared to guide them toward their breakthrough.

Whether your journey has been focused on pediatric therapy or you have experience in adult neuro rehabilitation, we warmly welcome your unique skill set to help those we serve.

If you resonate with the values of empathy, skillful leadership, and an unwavering commitment to finding the right path for every individual, we eagerly await your arrival.

    Let's Connect Through Communication

If you view speech as a bridge to understanding and therapy as an artful collaboration - if you cherish the power of human connection and see each day as an opportunity for growth - then this is the role where your heart can truly belong.

Join our mission to uplift voices, foster connections, and embrace the beauty in every conversation. Apply now and let's build a future together where every word matters, and every story deserves to be heard.
