Base pay range

$35.00 / hr - $45.00 / hr

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Cisco-based LAN / WAN environments, including IOS and NX-OS platforms.
• Configure and maintain TCP / IP networking and understand OSI Model fundamentals for effective diagnostics and design.
• Implement Layer 2 technologies such as VLANs Trunking EtherChannel , and Spanning Tree Protocols STP RSTP MSTP
• Deploy and manage dynamic routing protocols, including :
• OSPF (Single & Multi-Area)
• EIGRP
• BGP (iBGP / eBGP), route filtering, and path attribute tuning.
• Configure and troubleshoot HSRP VRRP , and GLBP for gateway redundancy.
• Deploy and secure enterprise networks using Access Control Lists (ACLs) Cisco ASA Firepower , and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL).
• Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies including traffic shaping, classification, marking, and queuing mechanisms.
• Deploy and support Cisco SD-WAN solutions including Viptela and Meraki platforms.
• Configure and support MPLS VRFs Route Targets , and Layer 3 VPNs in service provider or enterprise environments.
• Plan and implement IPv6 addressing and routing across enterprise networks.
• Conduct packet capture and traffic analysis using Wireshark and other tools for advanced troubleshooting.
• Monitor networks using SNMP Syslog NetFlow , and leverage platforms like Cisco DNA Center and Prime Infrastructure
• Automate network tasks using Python Ansible , and RESTful APIs for configuration management and reporting.
• Integrate and support Linux-based systems in networking contexts (DHCP, DNS, TCPDump, etc.).
• Support and configure cloud networking environments including AWS VPC Azure VNet , and GCP VPC
• Provide on-site support and work in coordination with customer IT teams and other vendors as needed.
