Our team is seeking an experienced Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the disability benefits process.
The selected candidate will review and assess 3-6 Veterans per day, conducting a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. They will also complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in our computer portal, which forms the medical evidence for the VA's decision-making process.
This is an IN-PERSON position with no evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
Conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans
Review and analyze patient records
Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires
Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
Requirements :
Master's degree in Audiology from an ASHA-accredited school
Current license as an Audiologist
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
