Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Shift Supervisor at Les Peters Youth Academy in Tampa, Florida ✨
Les Peters Academy is a moderate risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program.
A youth’s length of stay is determined by the youth's assessed risk to reoffend, their progress in reducing applicable criminogenic needs and risk factors, and the completion of their individualized treatment plan.
Pay : $45,000 a year

What you will do : As a Shift Supervisor you will
Supervise and coordinate all daily group living activities and staff schedules.
Serve as the site RAC in the absence of leadership.
Monitor facility operations to ensure student and staff safety, discipline, and compliance with program requirements.
Oversee staff-to-student ratios, cost control, and logistics for activities, transportation, and community events.
Lead safety procedures, including fire drills, incident reporting, and crisis intervention.
Support and train staff through supervision, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance with Rite of Passage (ROP) standards and policies.
Participate in and promote student engagement, modeling positive behavior and program values.
Maintain inventory, assist other departments as needed, and perform medical or administrative duties when required.
Attend meetings, ensure completion of required trainings, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

This role requires a strong leader who ensures operational excellence, staff development, and a safe, structured environment that supports student growth and program integrity
To be considered you should :
Bachelor’s degree in public / business administration, Behavior Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social / Human Services OR any equivalent combination numbers of years’ experience, education and / or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Military experience and training are acceptable. Three (3) years of experience in a juvenile treatment (Residential, Behavioral, Dentition, Corrections, etc.) Related and / or equivalent experience may be substituted with approval. One (1) year supervisory experience.
