Hourly Pay : $17.50

This position is bonus eligible

Training Schedule : Mo-Fr 8am-5pm Central

Work Schedule : Tu-Sa 8hrs / day, Full-Time, 40 hrs / wk

JOB SUMMARY

The Revenue Cycle Medical Billing - Self-Pay - Patient Advocate Call Team is responsible for ensuring proper documentation for accurate patient billing along with providing empathetic and professional customer service in an active call center environment.

Work Schedule Details :

Tuesdays - Fridays late shift 8 hours between 10am-9pm Central

Saturdays flex 8 hours between 7am-7pm Central

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES

• Take inbound calls assisting customers with billing inquiries
• Make outbound calls to validate active insurance coverage
• Collect outstanding balances
• Assist customers with Compassionate Care applications
• Document billing activity accurately
• Float into all areas of patient billing activity
• Calculate numbers, correct entries, and post to records
• Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information
• Prepare routine administrative work
• Records maintenance
