Job Title
Advise Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients in the Financial Services space on personal balance sheet asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking needs holistically. Co-manage and oversee growth strategy for the Greater Sarasota market to help the firm generate new assets under management (AUM) annually. Responsible for recruiting new bankers, training new hires, mentoring junior talent, and managing event planning, marketing, and branding efforts, in order to deliver exceptional investment experiences that ultimately maintain and grow client assets. Analyze clients' trusts and estates plan and their equities and fixed income exposure to provide targeted financial advice and develop technical solutions that fulfill clients' needs and objectives in the short-, medium-, and long-term through a goals-based planning approach and portfolio construction. Deliver exceptional investments experience to maintain clients' assets and continually grow them. Generate new business amongst financial sponsor and financial executive community and acquire new client assets, both from existing client base and via new client acquisition. Partner with internal specialists to provide expertise in yacht, aircraft, and art lending, connecting clients to other lines of business at the firm. Write subscription lines and private equity partner group lending. Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.
Qualifications
Minimum education and experience required : Master's degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as SC Banker, Deals Associate / Advisor, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Manager, Assistant Chief Investment Officer (CIO), or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as SC Banker, Deals Associate / Advisor, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Manager, Assistant Chief Investment Officer (CIO), or related occupation.
Skills Required : This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills : providing financial services, including personal balance sheet asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit advising, private banking, and holistic banking, to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals; prospecting UHNW individuals whose investment portfolios total at least $25 million, and converting those UHNW prospects to clients; advising clients on targeted trusts and estate planning strategy, and developing solutions for strategic portfolio construction; developing new client relationships by prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale, and asking for referrals; managing and deepening existing client relationships; and building relationships and working with professional centers of influence such as law firms, tax advisers, or the family office adviser community. This position requires five (5) years of experience with marketing the following investment products : managed portfolios; brokerage accounts; global equities; fixed income; mutual funds; ETFs; alternative investments, including private equity and hedge funds; commodities; foreign exchange; derivatives and structured products; deposit and lending products including margin loans and mortgages; and complex lending against illiquid or alternative assets. This position requires knowledge of the following : equities; fixed income; trust, estate, and succession planning concepts, including uses of trusts, corporate entities, and partnerships in personal and estate planning; and corporate trust, estate, and personal tax concepts, including personal and estate taxation. This position requires the following license(s) : Series 66.
