Position Summary
Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of systems that control and automate machinery and processes. The ideal candidate is not only technically adept but also innovative, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving. They should possess a comprehensive understanding of control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and HMI technologies, and be capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge projects to fruition. In this position, they will be tasked with developing control schemes, conducting system testing and validation, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and continuously improving existing processes. They must be adaptable, continuously seek improvement, and be ready to embrace the rapid technological advancements in automation and control technologies.
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systemsIntimate knowledge of A / B PLC's, Nidec AC Drives, Ethernet, CTNet, PLCs, DCS, and HMI systemsFamiliarity with industrial networking protocols and standardsPrevious experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong project management skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in using CAD software for control system design, desirable but not mandatoryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHands-on experience with robotics and automation a plus, but not requiredAdvanced problem-solving and analytical skillsProven experience in controls engineering or a similar roleProficiency in control system design and implementationExcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of safety standards and regulatory complianceAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematicsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesPhysical ability to inspect and monitor equipment when requiredEducation : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required.Experience : 2-5 Years of experience in similar roles.Preferred Experience : Industry experience preferred in the paper roll industry providing pressure-sensitive materials, labels, and adhesives.Responsibilities & Duties
