Collections Specialist – Fintech / Small Business Lending

Location : Great Neck, NY (On-site)

Salary : $60,000 – $80,000 + Bonus

We have partnered with a Fintech company delivering fast, flexible capital to small and medium-sized businesses. The team is growing and looking for a hands-on Collections Specialist who thrives on solving problems, negotiating with empathy, and keeping things moving in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and work directly with business owners to negotiate payment plans, resolve disputes, and maintain positive relationships.
• Conduct outbound calls daily — balancing professionalism, persistence, and a customer-first approach.
• Analyze account histories to prioritize recovery efforts and implement tailored strategies that improve collection performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and share insights that enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations (FDCPA, TCPA, etc.).
• Provide timely, accurate reporting on recovery progress and account status.
