Description :

Seeking a registered nurse for a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry unit.

The nurse will work night shifts with 12-hour shifts scheduled.

The assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Experience in telemetry and managing dysrhythmias is required.

Travelers will be expected to float to various units as needed.

Patient ratios may vary, with a typical ratio of 1 : 5.

Floating to other areas may include lower acuity and Medical-Surgical floors.

COVID vaccination is required, with exemptions allowed.

A valid driver's license and personal transportation are necessary for compliance.

Candidates should be prepared for potential call-offs as the facility may call off shifts during the contract period.

The facility operates at over 100% capacity, and nurses are expected to manage a high volume of patients.

The expected patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various complex diagnoses.

Candidates must have skills in starting IVs and working in a telemetry environment.

Professional development may include completing necessary modules as part of orientation.

The facility emphasizes team collaboration with other disciplines such as physical therapy and pharmacy.
