Local Contract Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Adult Inpatient) - $64-66 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Psychiatric for a local contract nursing job in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Psychiatric Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Number of Beds - 74 Number of Staff – ~150 Type of staff : Day Shift – ( 1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters) Night Shift - ( 1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters) Patient Ratios – RN 1 : 8 shared nursing model Type of equipment – Glucometer, office equipment, O2, tube feeding EMR – Meditech Weekends / Call : Rotating Weekends. No Call. Typical Procedures : Deliver direct physical and psychosocial care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Provide holistic, individualized care appropriate to the age of the patient. Act as an advocate for patient safety and oversee compliance with core measures for applicable patients. Participate in development and implementation of plan of care. Communicate the elements of the nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality intervention and promote collaboration within the health team. Must Haves : - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of BHU RN experience in an acute hospital setting - ID RN License - BLS and CPI Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have : - 1 year chemical dependency / psychiatric experience or a strong desire to learn skills associated with this field. - MediTech Experience - Travel Experience
