Job Duties

Responsible for providing administrative assistance to departments as directed by the manufacturing Plant Manager or Production Manager. Input data into various types of software and databases used in the manufacturing environment. Prepare various word documents, data graphs and spreadsheets for internal and external department information sharing. Input data of specific quality metrics and prepare presentations to support plant operations. Screen and receive visitors, phone calls and company personnel. File, fax, and make copies. Provide department support of communications including arranging conference calls, transferring telephone calls, receiving / delivering messages and paging personnel. Schedule and coordinate plant meetings. Coordinate factory tours. Pick up, sort, and deliver interoffice mail and outside mail. Coordinate departmental training activities. Create purchase requisitions for training sessions. Create expense accounts for the personnel attending sessions. Coordinate ISO 14001 environmental management system activities and updates. Schedule meetings and maintain supplies for the conference rooms and arrange any additional equipment required for meetings. Order and maintain office supplies. Assist with maintenance of department computers, hardware, printers, copiers, etc. Arrange travel schedules and reservations for management as needed. Process preventive, predictive and unplanned maintenance work order requests. Organize the Crown Challenge celebration and other CI activities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

0-4 years' related experience Associate degree Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED Job requires employee to drive a personal vehicle to conduct company business

Preferred Qualifications

A two-year degree or equivalent experience along with one to three years of comparable field experience. Strong understandings of computer applications such as Microsoft Office are desirable.
