Java Fullstack Platform Administrator

Role : Java Full Stack Developer Location : McLean, VA (On-Site) Type : Contract Overview : We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our on-site team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development, along with front-end expertise in Angular and hands-on experience working in AWS cloud environments . Responsibilities : Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture . Build dynamic and responsive front-end applications using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript . Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end and backend communication. Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) for deployment and cloud integration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning. Follow Agile development practices and CI / CD pipelines. Required Skills : 6+ years of experience in Java / J2EE development . Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs . Proficiency in Angular (2+), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript . Experience with AWS Cloud Services and CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven). Strong understanding of SQL / NoSQL databases . Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Preferred : Experience with Docker, Kubernetes , or other containerization tools. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
