License : NY License required in hand

Certifications : ACLS / BLS required

Must-Have :

• Must have NY license in hand - no exceptions
• Epic charting experience is required
• Floating is required

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in MS / Tele.

The role requires the ability to care for CHF patients, acute MIs, post-device care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias.

The nurse is responsible for cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and use of rapid response / code teams.

IV therapy and phlebotomy skills are essential, including peripheral line care / management.

Experience with respiratory care using nasal cannulas, oxygen face masks, and portable oxygen tanks is necessary.

Knowledge of isolation precautions is required.

The unit consists of 26 beds and primarily cares for cardiac patients.

The position requires availability for every other weekend and some holidays.

First-time travelers are accepted, while locals are not permitted.

The facility adheres to a strict compliance and background policy reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

All candidates must be physically able to float to different units as needed.
