Location :

This position is based in Tampa, FL, serving patients in Hillsborough County.

Your Role as a Mobile Medical Psych Nurse Practitioner :

As a Nurse Practitioner with Mobile Medical, you will provide in-home psychiatric care and evaluations to patients, ensuring they receive the attention and treatment they need to improve their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide in-home patient care.
  • Examine patients and review medical histories.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work and X-rays.
  • Diagnose health conditions and recommend appropriate treatments for chronic and acute conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and educate patients and their families on diseases, prevention, and overall health management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree – Psych Certification required.
  • Current National Board Certification and state licensure to practice in Florida.

    • Preferred Skills and Experience :

  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in clinical settings such as a psychiatric clinic, hospital, or ER.
  • Expertise in psychiatric care practices.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and evidence-based care practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients.
