Shape the Process. Steady the Line.
As a Thermoforming Process Technologist, you’ll start your day on the production floor, partnering with the process team leader to turn setups into stable, efficient runs. You’ll fine-tune thermoforming parameters, jump in during equipment start-ups, collaborate with Corporate engineers on new product introductions and R&D trials, and keep process definition sheets accurate and up to date.
What you’ll do
- Proactively spot and implement improvements to thermoforming processes on the production floor.
- Provide input to new product development teams and actively support job start-ups.
- Continuously elevate product quality by following and improving established programs.
- Apply a deep understanding of material behavior in the thermoforming process.
- Assist with start-up and stabilization of new equipment through hands-on process support.
- Maintain and update process definition sheets and the associated tracking system.
- Use basic hand tools confidently to work on equipment as needed.
- Maintain a high level of technical proficiency developed through experience and on‑the‑job training.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
