Do you thrive on negotiating lead times for titanium tube one hour and analyzing demand for carbon composite laminates the next? At Cutting Dynamics, LLC in Avon, Ohio—part of Re : Build Manufacturing—you’ll source critical raw materials that keep aerospace programs moving.

Your mission

Balance quality, cost, and delivery while building resilient partnerships across our metals and composites supply chains.

  • Act as primary contact to suppliers via phone, email, and portals.
  • Create and release POs in the ERP; align them to production schedules and customer needs.
  • Track commitments, expedite when necessary, and proactively adjust for schedule risk.
  • Collaborate with Sales / Account Management on quotes and order strategies.
  • Engage Quality, Engineering, Accounting, and Operations to resolve supplier issues quickly.
  • Assemble and present purchasing metrics for management decisions.
  • Continuously refine purchasing and supply chain processes.

What you’ll source

  • Metals : aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium
  • Forms : sheet, plate, tube, extrusion, coil
  • Composites : thermoplastic carbon composites (unidirectional and laminates)

    • What you need to succeed

  • Experience as a purchasing / procurement / buyer professional owning raw-material categories; aerospace / defense or precision manufacturing background preferred.
  • Comfort reading technical procedures and specifications; strong business-document literacy.
  • ERP / MRP experience and proficiency with Excel, Word, and database tools; understanding of forecasting and planning.
  • Problem-solving mindset to tackle supplier quality, delivery, and cost challenges.
  • High accuracy in data entry, order administration, and supplier communications.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in operations, materials management, business, or related discipline preferred.
