Job Type : Locum Tenens

Coverage Type : Clinical Only
Coverage Period : 12 / 02 / 2025 Ongoing
Clinical Shift Schedule : Flexible Schedule (primarily nights for Nocturnist role)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Standard inpatient hospitalist procedures

Admission and management of adult medical patients

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Mississippi medical license required

Board : BC / BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

DEA : Active DEA Certification

Certifications : BLS, ACLS (preferred)

Experience : Minimum of 30 inpatient or outpatient encounters in past 12 months, or completion of hospital-affiliated accredited residency or fellowship

Other Qualifications : Must provide three professional references who can attest to current clinical competence, ethics, and teamwork

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage for adult patients

Admit, round, and discharge patients as assigned

Collaborate with nursing staff and APPs for coordinated care

Maintain thorough documentation in EMR

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical staff bylaws

Participate in GO LIVE transition support if applicable
