Travel Operating Room Technician (OR Tech)

Location : Johnson City, NY

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Rotating Days 40 hours / week

Position Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Johnson City, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a skilled surgical team, supporting a variety of cases while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, and neurological cases.

Maintain sterile fields and prepare instruments, supplies, and operating rooms.

Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure efficiency during procedures.

Adhere to strict aseptic and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Minimum of 12 years of recent Operating Room experience.

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification.

Current BLS certification.

Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.

Ability to adapt quickly in new clinical environments and work effectively with diverse teams.

Assignment Details

13-week contract

Rotating day shifts, 40 hours per week
