We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Specialist to join our team onsite in downtown Chicago. In this role, you will serve as the go-to resource for employees and leadership on all things benefits, from enrollment to compliance. Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and administer open enrollment processes, ensuring accurate communication and seamless execution.
• Manage all day-to-day HRIS transactions, including benefit changes, enrollments, and terminations.
• Serve as the liaison between employees and insurance carriers, addressing questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Partner with leadership to evaluate and select health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plan options (401k / 403b).
• Oversee and track all leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, short / long-term disability), ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide ongoing benefits education to employees through presentations, one-on-one support, and written materials.
• Collaborate with payroll to confirm accurate deductions, contributions, and reporting.
• Stay current on compliance requirements and industry best practices to keep programs competitive and compliant.
