Akkodis is seeking an Hardware Engineering Program Manager for our Contract position with a client. It is for Cupertino, CA location.

Location : Cupertino, CA 95014 (Onsite)

Duration : 9+ Months

Pay Range : $60 / hr - $65 / hour without benefits (Pay rate varies based on experience)

Job Description :

We’re looking for a highly motivated Hardware Engineering Program Manager with a strong Electrical Engineering background to play a key role in developing next-generation iPad systems and input hardware . In this role, you’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage complex hardware builds, and drive the development of flex boards, PCBs, and main logic assemblies from concept through prototype and into assembly.

You will partner closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Reliability, and Operations teams—along with global suppliers and contract manufacturers—to ensure on-time delivery of hardware components. This role requires exceptional communication, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-changing development cycles.

What You’ll Do :

• Lead multi-functional engineering teams through hardware development cycles
• Own schedules for main logic PCBA and system-level flex / board design
• Manage prototype build planning, materials readiness, and factory execution
• Coordinate with global vendors and CMs to drive on-time deliverables
• Communicate risks, status, and program direction across teams
• Support international travel for build events
