As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming environment at a retail location. Position Type : Part Time Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Mon07 : 00 AM - 01 : 00 PMTue07 : 00 AM - 01 : 00 PMSun07 : 00 AM - 01 : 00 PM What You'll Do : + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols to address issues as they arise.+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist customers, answer questions, and provide a sense of security-related support.+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, and daily activities.+ Document incidents and observations accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and client requirements.+ Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws, using sound judgment in all situations. What We're Looking For : + Availability across various days and shifts+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : + Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.+ Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas.+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
