Join to apply for the PRAXIS Music Tutor role at Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company . The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students nationwide with online PRAXIS Music tutors. As a tutor on the platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and increase for specialized subjects, with the opportunity to earn up to $40 / hour for sessions with the same student. You’ll be paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice, and you can tutor as much as you’d like. Tutors work remotely using the Live Learning Platform, with AI-powered supports to assist in planning and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring to students.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.
