Job descriptionWeekday Rounding : Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM at one hospital per day. Night Call : 5 PM - 7 AM (phone consultations only). Weekend Call and Rounding : Includes calls and in-person rounding both Saturday and Sunday. Weekend shifts run from Friday 5 PM through Monday 7 AM. Call Ratio : 1 : 5. Patients Per Day : Hospital census averages 20-25 with support from 2 NPs and residents. Procedures Required : Nuclear Stress Tests. Vascular Studies. Specialty Skills Needed : Non-invasive cardiology expertise, including TEE and diagnostic imaging. Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, BLS. Licensure : Must hold an active Pennsylvania license. Board Status : Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology. Fellowship : Required. Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 90 days (temporary privileges available for qualified candidates). Support Staff : Includes hospitalists, experienced RNs, and a team of 5 cardiology providers. Privileges : Providers will need to submit case logs for TEE, Echo, and Nuclear Stress Test procedures. Comprehensive Support : Work alongside a well-staffed team in a hospital setting. Variety in Work : Opportunity to handle a mix of diagnostic and procedural cases. Flexible Scheduling : Ability to influence shift preferences based on availability.
